Plassac, nestled along the Gironde estuary, is a mosaic village.

From the first century was built a Gallo-Roman villa whose decorations are still visible. As you stroll through the streets, admire mosaic works contemporary works created by Emilie Baudrais, an art craftsman located in the village, and the inhabitants: a boat in the port, a frame on the dike, a painting next to the museum and another near the tennis court.

For its part, the port of Plassac experienced very strong activity in the 18th and 19th centuries. The construction of beautiful stone residences bears witness to this. The virgin of Montuzet, perched at the top of the village, offers a remarkable view of the Gironde estuary.
