Zone humide : lorsque l'humain s'emmêle… à Bayon

What is the point of wetlands? Why are certain sectors more sensitive to flooding?
The case of Bayon sur Gironde is a wonderful example to answer these questions and many others. It invites us to rethink land use planning and the place of waterways and wetlands within our environment. Long abused and constrained, the Gourrou stream, a tributary of the Mangaud, is known for its regular flooding of nearby homes. The Moron Union and the Bayon town hall then set up a project to respond to this problem. It is this work that we invite you to discover, on site, as well as the challenges that the municipality must face in this area.
These points will be addressed along a route between the vineyards of Château Falfas and the place called Bourdieu.
