The autumn cultural and artistic event
The Sentiers des Arts were born from the desire to create ephemeral and unusual artistic itineraries that reconcile art and heritage. This approach makes it possible to invest in new places of artistic presentation, to enhance a rich natural and architectural environment, through the eyes of contemporary artists, to arouse curiosity and generate encounters between artists, their works and residents.
For several years, the Sentiers des Arts are anchored as an autumn cultural and artistic event. This project is carried out in conjunction with the municipalities and mobilizes the associative sector, particularly in the implementation of the activities proposed for different audiences.
Since 2016, CARA has joined forces with the Communities of Communes of Haute-Saintonge and Estuaire to organize Land Art type itineraries with the common desire to promote heritage and encourage the discovery of this facet of contemporary art. The success of the event is confirmed, the attendance of the public and more particularly of schools continues to evolve.
