The autumn cultural and artistic event

The Sentiers des Arts (Art Trails) were born from the desire to create ephemeral and unusual artistic routes that reconcile art and heritage . This approach makes it possible to utilize new venues for artistic presentation, to enhance a rich natural and architectural environment through the eyes of contemporary artists, to spark curiosity and to generate encounters between artists, their works and the local residents.

At each stopover, the works encourage visitors to change their point of view on places they encounter every day.

For several years, the Sentiers des Arts (Arts Trails) have established themselves as an autumn cultural and artistic event . This project is carried out in conjunction with the municipalities and mobilizes the community sector, particularly in the implementation of activities offered to different audiences.

Since 2016, CARA has partnered with the Communauté de communes de la Haute-Saintonge and de l'Estuaire to organize Land Art trails, with the shared aim of promoting heritage and encouraging the discovery of this facet of contemporary art . The event's success is undeniable, with public attendance, particularly among schoolchildren, continuing to grow.
