Blaye en état d'art is a cultural event where contemporary art is at the heart of encounters and emotions.
The free exhibitions are visible to all in Blaye and Plassac. Artists from here and elsewhere will be there to meet you and come and discuss their work with you and with each other.
Contemporary art is not reserved for an elite and it is not always complicated and abstract. Art triggers emotions regardless of the artistic discipline and regardless of the audience.
Blaye en état d'Art creates bridges between visitors and artists in order to desacralize the image of art. It creates bridges between different disciplines such as mosaic, painting, photography, graphism, sculpture, poetry but also music, opera, dance, etc.
Blaye en état d'art is today's art created by living artists and accessible to all. It is welcoming artists and the public in dedicated exhibition spaces but also in artists' studios, private homes, living spaces such as the bookstore or a doctor's office.
