Château Saincrit

You don't become a winemaker on a whim, it's a mature decision, it's not love at first sight, it's a passion. My pronounced taste for nature and working the land, my desire to live as close as possible to it attracted me to this path. It was in 2003 that I bought Château Saincrit, a property that had existed for 3 generations. The vineyard is located in St-André de Cubzac, north of the Gironde, on the crossing of the 45th parallel, this imaginary line which divides the hemisphere into two equal parts and which clearly expresses the balance that we feel here. It extends over the hillside of Montalon which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding plains and the meanders of the Dordogne river. The property represents 22 hectares. “Ask me to comment on my wines, I will tell you about the terroir, vines, seasons…”.
