Château Les Chaumes
At Château Les Chaumes, oenologist Anne Parmentier welcomes
you to an introduction to wine-tasting and helps you develop a better understanding of how wines balance and their development in the bottle.
The Atelier de Tonnellerie (the cooper’s workshop) presents the stages in the production of a barrel, illustrated with a collection of old tools and an explanatory film. You will also learn to appreciate the influence of the barrel on how wine ages.
From April to September, Anne Parmentier offers:
1. Without reservation, from Monday to Sunday, inclusive, visits to the wine storehouses and the Atelier de Tonnellerie, with tastings of the most recently bottled vintage.
2. The first Sunday of every month: visits, tastings, picnics.
Bring your own picnic with family or friends and relax in the shade of the trees, before or after a tasting session.
