Our family crossed paths with Château Berthenon, an 18 th century charterhouse, for the first time in 1953. At that time, Paul Planteur (the grandfather) bought the vineyard which had virtually been abandoned. He soon passed the property on to his children Léa and Henri, who restored the Château and made it thrive. Today, my wife Thérèse and I run the winery together. We would be delighted for you to come for a
visit and discover our wide range of wines. Please phone us before you come so we can make sure to prepare for your visit. Please phone us before coming to the winery.
