Balade en petit train touristique + visite des villas gallo romaines (Enfant 8-12 ans)

Be careful at the start! The little tourist train takes you to Plassac along the Gironde: the opportunity to better understand the characteristics of the estuary as well as the history of this ancient village and its Gallo-Roman villas. The architecture of the first two villas was designed in harmony with the estuarine landscape. The last villa received a small thermal complex and apse rooms decorated with polychrome mosaics. The museum presents archaeological furniture from the excavations which allows us to better understand the daily life of its inhabitants and a virtual 3D reconstruction of the XNUMXnd century villa is broadcast.
The train then takes you through the vineyards of Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux and evokes the wines of the appellation. Finally, he tells you the history of the old streets of Blaye which wind up to the citadel. Once in the fortress, the little train reveals its anecdotes and describes the architecture of the place.
The train runs in July and August only.
