Visite guidée de la citadelle de Blaye par les souterrains

The guided tour of the citadel of Blaye (RDV Place d'armes -at the foot of the flag- in the citadel, 5 minutes before the time indicated on your tickets) introduces you to Vauban's defense system, life in the fortress at XVIIth century and in the Middle Ages and the evolution of the site since Antiquity. She also leads you to the secret passages of the fortress.
We walk in ditches, we climb stairs, so we advise you to wear comfortable and waterproof shoes.
The guided tour takes place half outdoors and half indoors. For people with reduced mobility, we inform you that the tour route is 1,2 km and that we go up or down around a hundred steps. In summer, we advise you to bring mosquito repellent. In case of rain, bring clothing and shoes suitable for this type of weather.
