This charming town, built on a rocky outcrop, classified as an "Ancient Village" and a member of the "Small Towns of Character" network since 2025, is encircled by medieval ramparts. Its narrow, picturesque streets lead down to the port via the Porte de la Mer (Sea Gate), the Rue de la Gouttinière, or the Escalier du Roy (King's Staircase) to reach the covered wash house.
On the upper part, discover the Halle, the Hôtel de la Jurade and the Château de la Citadelle (18th century Chartreuse) and taste the local specialty: the Figue de Bourg.
