Port de Plassac
The small Port of Plassac is typical of the Gironde Estuary.
It is located in the middle of Plassac. The ancient village boasts a Gallo-Roman villa. Follow the Terra Aventura route on a discovery hike to get to know Plassac. During your visit, you can also admire the mosaics on display in the narrow streets of the village. They were all created by local residents and by the Babylon Mosaic studio whose boutique is open to the public.
A stepped sea wall shaped the current configuration of the port, enabling the creation of 44 marina berths reserved for yachters. A rocky breakwater protects the entrance to the port. 22 footbridges provide access to the boats, and yachters enjoy the use of a water tap, electric hook-ups and a light.
