Description
Discover the Canal des Deux Mers by bike, this exceptional route which connects the Mediterranean to the Atlantic. For nearly 800 km, cycle along the Gironde Estuary, the Canal de Garonne and the Canal du Midi, to discover unforgettable sites and landscapes.
First step: discover the Gironde estuary through the landscapes between Royan and Bordeaux, 150 kilometer route. Ideally located on the route, recharge your batteries during a stopover at the port of Les Couvertures, with its picnic tables, its water points, its ornithological site Terres d'Oiseaux, before setting off again in a hurry pedal towards Blaye and its citadel, where 2 choices are available to you: continue along the Corniche road towards Bourg, or join the Médoc coast by the Blaye-Lamarque ferry.
You will then join Entre-Deux-Mers, heading towards the Mediterranean.
