The “Iconic by bike: the Citadel of Blaye” loop

From the village of BlayeYou can hop on your bike for a 39km loop suitable for the whole family and accessible all year round. Between cycle paths and picturesque country roads, this 2-hour bike ride is ideal for a family outing through the vineyards of Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, visit a wine château and discover the surrounding heritage. Take the time to enjoy this route at your own pace, which is one of our favorite walks, and don't miss the opportunity to stop for a refreshing picnic!

The Organic Wine Loop

Among our favorite bike rides, we obviously find the Organic Wine Loop Discover the biodynamically farmed châteaux by taking the legendary cornice road. Between vineyards and estuary, this bike ride around the charming city of Bourg offers breathtaking panoramas. Churches, wine castles and unique viewpoints punctuate this walk! Allow 2 hours to cover the 13km of this loop which honors the vineyards of our destination and our heritage!

Explore the Blayais region.
This bike ride allows you to discover the riches of the territory at your own pace.
The program includes the vineyard landscapes of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. But also the tranquility of the marshes with their fauna and flora.

The cycle path between Blaye and Étauliers

Integrated into the V80 and the Canal des Deux Mers à Vélo route, this greenway offers a peaceful way to discover the heritage of the region over just 15 km. Borrowed by pilgrims from Saint-Jacques de Compostela before their stop in Blaye, this walk is also suitable for family outings! We enjoy learning more about the history of the old railway line thanks to the explanatory panels that line this bike route!
