The labels

Adhering to a label is important for the tourist tenant, but also for the owner who has every interest in displaying this quality approach, thus enhancing his accommodation by reassuring his customer. This is a voluntary approach by the owner, so we invite you to contact directly the labels or brands who will support you in your efforts. Please note: the labels can be combined with the ranking.

Tourist tax in Blaye Bourg Terres d’Estuaire

The tourist tax is implemented throughout the Blaye Bourg Terres d'estuaire territory. This tax allows municipalities or groups of municipalities to finance expenses linked to tourist attendance. The tourist tax is determined by deliberation of the community councils. The deliberative assembly sets the prices but also the period during which the tax is due. The communities have chosen to establish a real tourist tax.

Who pays the tourist tax?

The tourist tax must be paid by the holidaymaker who stays in tourist accommodation, to their landlord (professional or private rental companies, without exception) which then transfers it to the community of municipalities via its Tourist Office. They have an intermediary role in the recovery of the tax which they must ensure. The amount of the tax must be displayed by the landlord, hotelier or owner of the accommodation. It must also appear on the invoice given to the vacationer.
