Château Saincrit

You don't become a winemaker on a whim, it's a mature decision, it's not love at first sight, it's a passion. My strong taste for nature and working the land, my desire to live as close as possible to it drew me to this path. It was in 2003 that I bought Château Saincrit, a property that had existed for 3 generations. The vineyard is located in St-André de Cubzac, in the north of the Gironde, on the passage of the 45th parallel, this imaginary line that divides the hemisphere into two equal parts and which expresses well the balance that one feels here. It extends over the Montalon hillside which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding plains and the meanders of the Dordogne River. The property covers 22 hectares. "Ask me to comment on my wines, I will tell you about the terroir, the vines, the seasons...".
